Mennie, one thing that really gets on my tits are trade unions. Labour are heavily backed by them and they even have a major say in who becomes Labour leader. In my opinion, trade unions have no place in todays society, or else should have their powers significantly reduced. They constantly try to disrupt as much as possible without giving a **** about the majority of the public. Lately when I read about unions urging members to strike because a 2% wage rise isn't enough it does my ****ing nut. I haven't had a wage rise in over 2 years and there were lots of redundancies in my work. I was lucky enough to dodge the bullet and get myself in a stronger position, but there were people who had just had kids. This happened under Labour, so I could equally as mush say Labour have brought the engineering sector to it's knees....but I'm smart enough to know that it's stupid to say that.
