I love to hear any instrument played well, I guess I was fishing for your view of that piece, it appears almost impossible to play!

Ah right. To be honest, although I admire technical ability, sometimes, from my point of view anyway, there jsut seems to be an attitude of ' let's see how many notes we can fit in and how fast we can go'.
Sometimes, this can distract from a piece.
Exciting music is a different case to 'flash git' type.

To me, you a slow melody where you can hear all the parts all of time takes some beating.
Classic example being Elgar's Nimrod.

Just my opinion mate though.
