Get Microsoft Security Essentials (I think it exists for Vista), and I use SuperAntiSpyware at home and have never got a virus, even with my *ahem*dodgy*ahem search history.
i use spybot and avg at home and i have never had a virus and i visit some exotic regions of the internet. **** knows what the boss does.
