Back home now...

I just want to say thanks for keeping the prediction league going during my absence and the overall keeping an eye on things, so thanks and I value your continued support <ok> I really liked your format of an introduction for the forthcoming games each time and will update all the prediction tables by early sometime next week.

Whats it like out there in Chennai brb? Have you finished negotiating with the Venkys for Allen to take over as manager. He might say no when he realises that Blackburn is north of the Thames.
 
Oh the joys of being back in the UK.

Scrutinised by a customs officer. Followed up by a extremely unhelpful Heathrow long stay park and ride bus driver, if her indoors had not been with me I'd have probably have given him a bit of verbal. Then coming out of the long stay confines got horn & abuse from a passing Asian lady driver for getting in the wrong lane. Then to top it all off I got held up on the M25.

I tell you what mate I missed only two things, proper ale and the football. As for the rest of it the Venkys can have it.
 
I'm coming back to the UK in a couple of weeks. Mmmmmm the weather looks crap, the parking is grim with jobs worth traffic wardens everywhere. But hey.... beer (its alcohol free out here) and football (Brb) is a good place to start. Hoping to get a match or two under my belt whilst home.<cool> COYG.....
 
Well its all falling into place. Not606 at the forefront of breaking news. brb goes off to India to talk to the Venkys. Steve Kean gets booted out of Blackburn immediately. It looks like Martin Allen's last game will be tomorrow before his move to Ewood. I wonder if brb has arranged for a swop which will see Kean at Priestfield on Monday? It really is amazing how the bits of the jigsaw fit together.

The only problem I had with Gemini doing the prediction league is that I didn't get as many right. So Im glad that my lucky charm in brb is back :D but its nothing personal Gemini ;)
