My Sister in law is Area manager for a major shopping retail chain, her and some of her colleagues where given huge discounts by apple, she got iPhone 5 for under £200 got me nowt though the bitch I also know that a Sony centre in Newcastle gave huge discounts to local workers a saving of nearly 45% off TVs. So it does happen

I watched 9/11 unfolding in the Sony Centre just off Buchanan Street in Glasgow. Quite a few people in town that day had the same idea. Eerily quiet in the shop when the second twoer collapsed.

But if you can get a Mac for 1/3 of the normal RRP, you'd say that was a decent deal?

 

Went to a computer shop a few weeks back looking for a new laptop. Told the guy I wanted one capable of doing 3d rendering and other resource heavy stuff. Tried to sell me a dual boot mac.

Told him macs are for ****s and *****s and walked out.

 

I wonder if he out that down on his customer feedback report

I would never own a mac. They make me angry.

I would happily sell it for profit, but i'd have to kick the person that buys it in the balls.

They'll still dominate in other areas but you won't need plugins like Flash when HTML 5 is fully adopted. It's market will completely disappear.

 

I won't use it, but I'll let the kids and wife use it.

But if it's all legit, I'd invest about £5k in stock and hopefully double my dough.

I was up in London the weekend after St Steve died. I saw about 25 people sat on the pavement with posters and candles (carved into the shapes of apples FFS) and crying. I wondered what was going on till i put it alltogther and saw what shop i was outside. My 8 year old niece asked me what was going on and looked at me with incredulity asking me if those people had soemthing worng with them. her last words on the subject were "why don't they go and cry for someone who they actually know"

The logic of kids. Sadly we seem to lose it as we get older.
