I did what I do every year, before the start of the season I get really excited and spend like two hours on doing a fantasy team, I even think out in my head transfers and whatnot I can make week by week... After about a month I've stopped caring completely.
I keep on leaving points on my bench which is very annoying. Almost as annoying as trying to predict a Man City line-up!
I was so sure we'd turn it on against the barcodes I made Lambert my cap. What I should have done is gone with Clyne instead of leaving him on the bench!
Well this week could be interesting. I have three Saints, two Chelski and an injured keeper ruling out six of my squad. How big a bullet should I bite on the old transfers I wonder?
Lambert didn't get a point for assist this week, even though he won the freekick which he then scored. Anyone else notice this?
You can if you win pen, score pen, pretty sure the same applies to free kicks. I think someone's ballsed up.
From the FPL Rules: Assists Assists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team, who makes the last touch before the goal is scored. If after this touch, an opposing player touches the ball outside the penalty area altering the intended destination of the ball, then no assist is given, except if this intervention directly results in an own goal. In the event of a penalty or free-kick, the player earning the penalty or free-kick gets an assist if a goal is directly scored, but not if he takes it himself, in which case no assist is given. All assists are reviewed daily but remain provisional until verified by the Press Association. For the avoidance of doubt, points awarded in-game are subject to change until the Gameweek closes. Once a Gameweek closes, no further adjustments to points will be made.
