Who is spending £14m on one player? Surely there has to be better way to spend that money?! Nunez is probably going to improve from last year too with Nkuku doing well in preseason but currently ignored.
My guess is that almost everyone is going to make him their captain as well, week in, week out. But with £14m gone on him, it’s hard to get the most expensive midfielder and defender into the team.
My thinking is that if he plays higher up this year, you’re looking higher number of assists. That may be worth the extra.
Yeah but you want clean sheets from your defenders. Liverpool, atm, look quite weak there. Over a full season I’d hazard a guess Trent would have more goals and assists from right wing back than he would as a DM.
