Well what ever we may say about it all we have our squad less any outgoing loans to see us through to January and to be honest I think it is a great mix with some exciting players.
I agree with the comment about quality. In the past we ended up with a big squad of average players, which contributed to our relegation from the Premiership last time. Above all else I am hoping to see the speed of passing increase with the new additions. We haven't played badly in the games so far, but boy did we look sluggish at times. I don't think that the players look as fit as they did at the start of last season and seemed to run out of steam against Wigan.
Tension is exhausting. In the Championship, the pressure was always on the other side and generally we carried on until they weakened. In the PL, we are going to spend a lot of time chasing and defending. The situation has been reversed. In the last few seasons, we were better as a team than as individuals...this season we need more flair that can give other players a breather. Hopefully, that is now the case.
