The Lurgan Bhigot's at it already with regard to the synthetic pitch at HJK Helsinki's ground.

Lennon was asked if synthetic pitches should be allowed in European football Lennon said:

“No, they shouldn’t, I don’t agree with them.

" Football should be played on grass, especially at this level. I don’t want to make it an excuse, but there’s no doubt it gives them an advantage as they are used to playing on it.

They’re used to the atmosphere and the way the ball rolls."

i agree with him to be honest

football should be played on grass at major sporting events - i friggin guarantee that if, by some miracle, helsinki got to the semi finals or summat that this would become a major issue

not that it should be used as an excuse - because it shouldnt

i just dont like artificial stuff - grass, tits etc
 
You seem to know an awful lot about Neil Lennon's bawsack Rocket. I know you ****s are obsessed with him but spying on the poor **** when he's in the shower is too much.
 
It's silly of Lennon to bring it up though. As Rocket said he is getting his excuses in early.

I couldn't give a **** how Celtic get on in any match this season though. I will however enjoy laughing when Lenny goes beeltastic when Helsinki sink you

He was asked "Do you think synthetic pitches should be used in European competition?"

Do you want a "no comment" for every question Lennon is asked while your manager mouths off a load of rhetoric about every order of the day?

Imagine pulling up Lennon for answering a question when your manager sees fit to offer opinions on contractual investigations/ disciplinary procedures/ reactions of fans etc etc etc.

There's nothing more telling of a bear's hypocrisy than when you involve Lennon <ok>

To be fair, I think the last time we played on a plastic pitch, we beat Spartak 2-0 in Moscow (Hartley and Samaras).

jings he got asked trev - its not like he called the press to make a statement - he is just saying what i think 90% plus of footballers and fans think as well!

i dont think he is getting excuses in early - he was asked a question, answered it honestly and then made sure to ADD that there were no excuses

and i'll enjoy seeing him jump for joy when we go through :)
 
Didn't Rangers have the same issue a few years ago?

I can't remember who they played but u think they lost the away tie

Quite so. We're not competing against Celtic so anything they do is unimportant. I still don't know most of last weekends SPL results. It's a strange feeling.

How so? You never paid much attention to the SPL (or football in general tbh) when Rangers were in it.
