It's a standard template but very yesterday I agree Also it's not a responsive design ... Most sites I work on today have to be The site needs to be fluid so as it's responds to the device it's viewed on In the case of tablets smartphones in both portrait and landscape orientations My guess is that they outsourced it as most managers do via a contract I also guess Anyone on here could make one using for example WIx.com The club should have an in house web designer as well as a head of brand To the defence of the media team things all technical have grown very quickly Today 70% of all emails are viewed on a mobile device and that tech still has to use very old HTML formats and is a real challenge Things aren't sorted yet by a long chalk in the science of UX design Of course the site will need to change so worry not lads
What was their approach regarding the publication of the annual accounts? As far as I can see they were just put out there, the press release, if it existed, was drawn from TF's introduction. I can't find anything on the website about it (though this may be because of the website design....). Given that the figures are truly terrifying to most fans, a communications plan and proactive implementation of it would seem essential if they want to avert the inevitable negative conclusions being drawn. "If" being the key word here....... Post Script: TF has now started tweeting reassuringly which is all well and good, but does not feel 'managed' to me. Presumably Harold is doing his pre match press conference today, and is bound to be asked about the accounts - has he been given a line to take? He is an employee after all.
