They must have a wealth of data on each player as they've been using those fitness tracker packs for a while now - that players wear under there shirts for games.

Good point - surely those should tell you when a player's tired?

Yeah exactly. Should have data to indicate upward or downward fitness trend season to-date, plus data to show game by game patterns and when pitch coverage and running etc begins to fade. Maybe its not real time data though? Must also have indicated lassogas fitness trend this season

If you ask any boxing coach, athletics coach or swimming coach, they'll tell you athletes can be over trained which can, and does create a negative effect.

Anyone remember working hard all week, doing pretty much the same thing, using the same muscles etc day in day out, then feeling tired or drained come Friday evening, or Saturday morning, it's pretty much the same thing.

I just read an article where the players had a light training session after arriving in Spain, then double training sessions are planned for the rest of the time in Spain.

    ......:emoticon-0148-yes:[/QUOTE]
I read an article on boxing training and was surprised at the amount of sleep these guys have to have. They run in the mornings, ahve brekky then a sleep. Train in the gym, lunch then a sleep, etc. This was Kstya Tzu the Russian/Aussie fighter, and he was successful enough to make this believable.

Ffs these are professional sportsmen or supposed to be. They do a couple of hours a week. We’ve amateur sportsmen here in the gaa who all hold down full time jobs as well as compete. Rooffes like them all. Spoiled Prima donnas who think they’re a lot better than they actually are

I knew someone who's daughter never came home from school on time. They went looking for her found her sitting on a wall, too tired to walk the rest of the way home. She was diagnosed with leukemia. Sudden onset. If Roofe was so tired, and him being a professional athlete, I don't imagine he would have just walked off, maybe, just maybe...............just thinking.
