There is too much negative publicity coming out of the Club, or from people representing the Club. In particular criticism of players from both TF and Harry. The message from the Club should be We got relegated because We didn't do well enough, not QPR got relegated because a Player or Players didn't give a F*kk. Such public criticism from Chairmen and Management is counter - productive. The problems need identifying and corrected internally, not by slagging off Players in public. Chairmen and Management should show more humility anyway, if a Player isn't giving 100% that could well be partly at least because of poor Direction and Management of the Club. Good luck Roller!

HI Roller, Good luck at the meeting!

I would say that communication to and via the media regards club announcements and affairs has got a lot better compared to what is used to be like... so I really don't see much doom and gloom in this aspect of the club at present, if only we had something positive to communicate!

Anyhow - there are probably a host of reasons why they wouldn't want to but how about suggesting that Adam Hulme expands his current remit and actually starts making official announcements in the same way he would on Twatter and Facebook under an official Club Tag directly on the main fan sites...

Why shouldn't the club have a direct voice to the fans on the discussion boards? I can't really be arsed with Twatter and i despise Facebook, and basically have to rely on the efforts of others posting the ****e that has appeared there on here.

Wouldn't take much effort to multi post the same announcement across the 5 main boards under an official announcement, would also look like the club is really trying to engage with its fans at every level, who knows he might even have time to engage in the odd discussion or debate.

Regards your point about Harry - see if you can get his mobile number - I'll call him....

I think I've heard a few people complain about the SMS alerts ie they are more reminder than alert.

Like most I rarely look at the Official site any more.

Very decent of the two lads to get you onboard, Swords barbs obviously never put them off the site!

    Good luck Roller.

Agree with all above. I came to this site because I got no info from the club.

Need to use the youngesters more....although got to say the recent u18s triumphs have been played/marketed quite well....but I would like to know more about them

I'll add my vote to the "club website is rubbish" resolution. The last revamp made it colourful and dynamic but more difficult to navigate. I used to be a daily visitor but rarely bother nowadays.

The approved agenda came through today

    *The official website
    *Feedback on club publications
*Relegation – how it affects club coverage
    *Club media messages
    *Player conduct on twitter
    *AOB

I hope that the "Club Media Message" is related to the negative publicity that I put forwards. DT and I discussed the role of social media in increasing the fan base through pms, this has not specifically made the agenda but I'm sure will be discussed. I will endeavour to cover an number of other points, off the top of my head from QPAAAAGH and Beth in AOB.

Any other thoughts on the agenda?

Hope it goes well Roller, maybe something for us overseas fans especially in South America of course! Something in Spanish on the web site? Something to encourage fans on this side of the world? Air South America coming soon? Thanks again

    I wouldn't expect too much.

For one thing Clive Whittingham will be there; I've spent half an hour with him before and not managed to get a word in edge ways!!! ;)

Make sure we get a say, there's no point in one or two hi-jacking the meeting with their own agenda...

That depends on how interested you are in the items that were on the agenda (post 28 above). I found it an interesting and constructive meeting, but do remember it was on communications and media, not which players we should be signing!
