Haigh said on Twitter the other day how much he is looking forward to it. Then there was the page on the offical website with them all blowing there own trumpet about fan interation & half price season tickets!

Hopefully there to busy selling the club to engage with us. One can wish.

Edit ** Just read the link. Haigh obviously wants to be there himself & he should be putting his family first on this occasion <ok>

Exactly, ****s sake how uncompromising are fans? Is this what bates has done to us, made us so sceptical that we give new owners (completely different people who have no previous affiliation with bates and have no history of behaving like him) absolutely no time or space to do what needs to be done?

What an absolute shower. I’m hoping that it’s been postponed because on Monday they’ll be too busy showing Nigel Adkins around the manager’s office. But I imagine they just couldn’t face the public scrutiny.

So are you telling us that it's a one man band and the club ceases to function without him, Marko?

I accept that he unfortunately has a funeral to attend, however, life should go on without him. Do GFH shut down when he goes on holiday?

It's clearly an unfortunate problem that has been turned into a glorious opportunity for GFH to timeously duck.

I'd imagine it's important for him to be there as he is somewhat of a figurehead for the club. Not really unreasonable to reschedule if he can't make it.

Seriously some of you ask far too much, stop judging them so harshly just because bates was a ****. They aren't bates. ****ing deal with it.

Marko, I reserve the right to judge them. I paid over £700 to qualify for that right! Whether it is harsh or not remains to be seen.

My big bugbear is that they have signally failed to communicate effectively with the fans, and consistently avoid the reception of useful feedback. They have resisted attempts from LUST to communicate with them & refused to answer pertinent questions from individuals on their Twitter accounts, official or otherwise. Information exchange is one way traffic at the moment, and very limited at that too. THEY ARE NOT LISTENING AND APPEAR NOT TO WANT TO LISTEN. If this is an incorrect assumption, they have had ample opportunity to prove me wrong, and this latest example is further circumstantial evidence to back up my assertion.

Perhaps they should take up refereeing, 'cos they don't know what they're doing!!!

The way Leeds fans are at the moment if they sacked the manager every time the fans called for his head we'd have been through about 6 managers since Christmas.

I'm not 100% sure what "not listening" means, since they appear to be doing things based on what the fans are asking for. For the 1000th time, it's not all going to happen over night. I don't know why I have to keep telling people this, I don't understand what they are doing wrong. The manager made the decisions regarding players in the transfer window. It was Warnock that offered Becchio up on a plate, because he was that desperate to get Steve Morison in. £500k for a player who's contract is out in 6 months is perfectly reasonable, especially for one where the selling club is desperate for money and desperate to get wages off the books, and for a player who, while good, isn't exactly tearing the league apart. Keep in mind that the super rich Nottingham Forest refused to pay more than that for the same player.

It's just so ****ing cringey listening to people go on about how they are bates in disguise or the same as bates or crooks or syphoning money or whatever when in reality they haven't had time to proper turn the club around. 8 years of rot CAN'T BE FIXED OVER NIGHT. It also can't be fixed by just pissing money away on players. What happened last time we paid over the odds for players? Just remember we've been at both ****ing ends of it and neither seems to have worked, so why get bent out of shape over the "lack of change" when in reality a LOT has changed?

Jonny, you've not seen some of the referees I've seen. If they did know what they were doing, then they should have been jailed for doing it!

Nice rant, Marko, but if you read my post again, I'm talking about refusal to effectively communicate. Thought my point was glaring enough for you to notice.

How are they not communicating effectively? They can't tell you every tiny little detail of every little thing that happens every day. It's just not practical. They are announcing the important bits as and when they happen.

Oh, you mean the knee-jerk reactions? Very effective communications. Not!

Let's just look at why we're supposed to be having this Fans Forum. The whole idea about it is for the board to gauge the fans' mood & receive feedback. Now LUST has already done this by issuing 4500 questionnaires, of which 2500 were returned. This has been offered to the board many times & no response has been received. They are so keen to do this that they waited for 2 months after the TO, and then dropped it at first opportunity. Hardly building up trust, is it? Isn't it clear to you that they don't want to communicate?

All levels, Jonny. The lower down the leagues, the worse they get. Even in the PL, there is bias. I remember one referee being caught on camera punching the air when Liverpool scored against us. He was known to be a Liverpool supporter, but gave the reason that 'I was celebrating that I had correctly played advantage to Liverpool'. It was accepted too! Think his name was Ellery - the posh school teacher who's now retired.

The worst ever is a case I think I've detailed before. Gazza was playing for Rangers against Partick Thistle. He scored & got booked for gesticulating to the PTDC fans. During the rest of the match, he elbowed our 18 yo midfielder, Macdonald, 10 times in the face (shown clearly in slow motion on the telly), but never even got spoken to. The young lad eventually got sent off after losing it on the 10th occasion & tried to kick Gazza with a wild swing. In the second half, one of our strikers, also called Macdonald, got a yellow, then a red for an innocuous challenge. The decision truly puzzled us, but it later transpired that he was booked for 'inciting the crowd' for crossing himself in the tunnel, as he left the pitch at half time (apparently it was a crime to do so in front of the Protestant Rangers fans. The fact that some Catholic Rangers players were doing exactly the same thing did not seem to register with the referee). Rangers won 1-0 against 9 men. Our American captain, who hadn't been playing, went to see the referee in his changing room after the match, and was awarded 4 red cards for questioning the decisions!! A world record, I believe. He was banned for the rest of the season, so we had to sell him immediately. The referee resigned the next day. He claimed that Gazza should have been sent off, but feared a pitch invasion if he did so. Clearly he had lost the plot, & the media unanimously agreed. The SFA didn't when PTFC appealed to get the match replayed, offering 90 minutes of filmed evidence. Absolute farce, and a true, well documented story.
