It's startling that, for an outright ****, you can still post sense and reason on occasion.

No. They are not getting satisfaction. They are getting their details passed to the Police. I think that is worthy of comment.

Most football fans do that, including those that are getting lifted by the cops for doing **** all.... That is worthy of comment.

A **** law and people are against it. You conceded that the grievance as legitimate. You suggested a resolution. You now know that resolution is unworkable. So are these '****wits' deluded or do they have a legitimate grievance?

It's worth a comment yes. I never said it wasn't.

Is it worth traveling to and protesting outside the Scottish Parliament? No.

As I said, this is about a minority of football fans who have formed themselves into a group and given themselves a sense of importance out of context with the experience of the vast majority of fans. It's this mentality that's as much the problem as the flawed legislation.

    YOU. ARE. JUST. FOOTBALL. FANS.

It appears that there are at least 12 MSPs there.

...and Johann Lamont is a speaker at it.

    Bizarre.

I'm presuming not all of them.

I think the majority of them are pointscoring Labour MSPs (one of the SNP ones in attendance is John Mason)

You presented a resolution that is clearly unworkable.

How else should they register their distaste. They are football fans who are mindful of the ramifocations of this legislation. It is not strange or unusual for folk to show solidarity with those who have been adversely affected by this law.

They are not pretending to be anything other than football fans.

It has never occurred to me that I needed to be concerned about difficulties caused for me by the police when I attend a match.

I don't think its an unreasonable assumption to think that those who are concerned about the police are concerned because they know they are acting or intending to act in ways that are unacceptable.

It is not an unreasonable assumption, however with the benefit of a year of seeing how the police have affected this legislation it is clear that those with concerns are wholly justified.

in what way are their concerns justified? I go to the football regularly and have never had any issues with the police before or after this legislation came in. Is it because I'm a sober, regular guy that conducts himself properly and within the law at all times?

Maybe if these bangers went and enjoyed the football for the game itself and left their chips at home instead of on their shoulder then laws wouldnt have to be brought in to ensure the rest of society doesn't have to put up with their nonsense

And on a slightly separate issue, this law should be used across the board so I hope the police get ripped into the national digrace that is the tartan army next opportunity they get.

And on another slightly different issue, Jeanette Findlay is a fruitcake.
