Fantasy football I was told that Posh Spice's dad used to regularly visit the trade counter at the lighting company I worked for in Greenford, back in the 1980's before she was famous. But she never accompanied him. I was always a bit sceptical about this, but I don't really see what the bloke who told me had to gain from making it up. Pity though that the young lady showed no interest in working for her dad's business. Electricians earn decent money. Granted I'm wandering slightly off-topic, since the thread is not titled "famous people's dads someone told you about". But since a thread with that title isn't likely to crop up, even here, I thought I would mention it.
