I always find Tash a good read... (from a Sunderland point of view he's very entertaining :emoticon-0105-wink:), but this time beneath his usual keyboard-warrior bravado he has a point... putting families next to away fans isn't sensible IMO as you're possibly exposing them to an uncomfortable level of verbal aggression. Away fans tend to be mainly men between 18-40, amongst the most passionate/vocal the club has and often fuelled by beer; I'm not so sure Ashley is making your club more 'family friendly' by putting families next to away supporters.

Maybe he's going to relocate where the away fans go? If not I see some unpleasent experiences ahead for some of your yunguns I'm afraid.

p.s. re the thread title - surely **** = family unfriendly; get your Da to explain how families are made Tash before you make a fool of yourself.

Muppet. I agree with you that the family section should not be next to the away fans.

But to say there should be "no family enclosure" is completely ridiculous. You've managed to turn a somewhat valid point into imbecile rantings. Well done ****tard.

the family enclosure covers all of level 7 milburn and half of what we know now as Leazes Corner.
However the other half of Leazes Corner is designated to the new 18-21year olds who are expected to go there with their kids if they have any or their family memebers that they have been going with in the family enclosure but are now too old to go their.

a bit long winded like sorry about that too early for my brain to function properly :p

I love level 7 but I guess FCB is only building for the future by enticing the young uns and families in with cheaper seats. As long as it keeps the attendances up I don't mind.

I can see why you're pissed off though, you love a good swear :emoticon-0183-swear:

I don't see the issue, there's still the Young Peoples bit between the Family Enclosure and the away section, and more affordable seating for folk to bring their kids (something that has nationally been a problem in football, with average ages rising) is a fantastic move. Its way up from the pitch so won't affect the atmosphere at pitch level much, and actually has the kids concentrating on the game, rather than thinking back to a 10 year old me and a mate playing 'count the ****s' (50 odd second half alone!) from a moustachio'd Geordie in front of us against Spurs in 93...

Tash you are a complete cock, though I agree that the family enclosure next to the away supporters is pretty stupid everything else is utter bollocks.

As a parent I do expect my kids to be subjected to a certain amount of bad language and it is up to me to try and protect them from such things, my oldest is 12 and hears it on a daily basis at school which I can't stop but he knows better than to use it around me or the rest of the family. As for my youngrdt who is 7 I'd me horrified to have him sat anywhere near a gob ****e like you!!!!! Hence the need for a family enclosure. Yeah people get animated at a football match but it appears you have NO self control

What you are suggesting is taking a step back to the bad old days where football was mostly male dominated, they should have kept the family section in the east stand where it used to be.
But to suggest to get rid completly is the most single minded idiotic thing I've heard you say.

Think before you type you dumb ass single minded self centred ****ing Arsehole

    colly i agree
i think newcastle fans should consider ourselves lucky on the season ticket side (Leazes Corner apart) the option to freeze for 10years is very good deal
however i do see tash's point with the family enclosure so close to the away support

I find the notion of an immature, ridiculously angry 19 year old lecturing parents on how to bring their kids up quite funny. What happened to the idea of you posting this **** on the Boro board so no one reads it?

  15. Ok, i took it a bit far by saying there should be no family enclosure, but giving the whole upper tier, including the leazes corner next to the away support, is stupid.

I'm not saying football should be all violence, blood n guts, sex and drugs. But i'm sick of the fact that today's society thinks everything should be family friendly and nice.
There should be a family enlcosure, but it shouldn't take up such a massive portion of the ground, and football shouldn't have to change to suit the fact that more families are coming to see games,
the families should accept what football is, and be prepared for what they may encounter at games.

There was swearing before the families turned up, and i don't think just because they are turning up now, that the swearing should stop.

I agree its a bad move by the club, but are we still shocked when they do that?

  17. It's not just happening at SJP mate, 25k+ seats being reserved for famlies at the champions league final. I don't mind youguns gan doon to games with their mams and dads, but if things keep going the way they are,
there'll be ****in pic nic baskets and coffee tables at the matches. Who knows, football could become so family friendly, that players aren't allowed to kick the ball out of play with excesive force to ensure that
    cups of tea aren't spilled.

I put in an article earlier this week regarding swearing. I agree in principal with what RIP says. But the family section should all along the front of the east stand. Kids love to see the footballers close up. I used to sit there myself mind before i changed to a better seat. Never once did anyone complain about people swearing there either. But now, i get a complaint in the 1892 club seats from a Woman probably (mind i am pretty sure she's been there for donkeys). Anyone that complains should be forcibly reallocated the family section or be told that they will have to accept a certain amount of swearing. I do not swear in normal conversation and abhor that some people do. But football matches and all the passion are a hotbed of swearing and letting off steam. The area next to an away section is about the most stupid place imaginable to put a family section. Right next to the most likely vociferous group that will for sure be swearing and frightening for kids.

    As I said before:
If the kids are the closest to the away fans, there's likely to be less aggressive chanting between the two sets of fans. That's the theory, and I do agree that bit seems stupid. But that wasn't what I had a problem with. I disliked your selfish attitude toward other fans' enjoyment. You're not the only won paying for tickets, you know.
