Ok, so a bit later than expected! Looks like we're pushing ol' Tash into the wastes. I'll give him a few minutes to say his last goodbye's, then let's open up the gates and wave farewell.

Wait, hold that thought......the Lone Wanderer is addressing the crowd.....there's a lot of shouting.....wait, it's dying down.....some confused looks and glances among the mob.......what the ****? They're nodding.....they've let Tash go?? This is unbelievable, but it looks like there will be NO EVICTION TONIGHT - the Lone Wanderer has spoken and chosen to save the elected.

Wow, 20 mins til bed, sure hope the night is more eventful than that pile of crap.
 
So either Tash is the Lone Wanderer, someone knows something we don't. or someone has ignored all the evidence of Tash being in the saloon without choosing to be - something that doesn't fit with the game unless he is a synth.

I'd say the line ranger thought it would be funny to save him lol
