i have seen it said often by Zola, and heard him say it too, that the fans really help boost the team. I do think there are times he feels we could do more of that at home, there are times we're barely audible at home, it's dreadful! Once we score, things improve, but without that first goal, it's not great...so yes, i think the fans do have something to do with those away wins...the support has been incredible this season...very vocal!
Could that not be said about a lot of teams as well?
I know that the atmosphere when being an 'away canary' as opposed to being a 'home' one, seems much more vocal. Whether or not it's my imagination, I don't know.
Out of interest, just how many other clubs are within say a 45 - 60 minute travelling time of you?
We at Norwich are very lucky in the fact that we are the only team in Norfolk, and Norfolk is a fair size old county to travel across, we are very lucky to have good crowds. Even when we were in league one, we had full houses most home games.
Personally, mainly because I am a tight git, I will always work out the value for money.
What does Watford FC offer in terms of value for money?
1. Seat prices?
2. Entertainment value? - Looking at your performances this season, I would say it's great entertainment.
3. Parking facilities?
4 Family atmosphere?
5. Safety?
6. Price of food and drink?
7. Attitudes of club employees and stewards?
If all of the above points warranted me giveing a mark of 7 or more out of 10, then I would be a regular visitor -
IF I was a football fan who lived in your area.
