I don't know the thread/threads that LL & BB are referring to, but whoever posts should know how far you go, drunk or not I may come on here after so many bottles of wine thinking I'm superman writing **** but down to human nature you don't over step the mark deliberately,
I have accused Wiz and Shiny of being gay lovers etc and they played along as they do with each other, ***gots!

I'm still finding this not sitting right with me.

It seems that wishing someone dead with cancer or a brain tumour would somehow be ok would it not have been for CJS situation? I have a brother who is currently suffering cancer, my Father died of it and my Mother recovered from it. I also have a good friend who had surgery to remove a brain tumour and is now living the rest of his life without sight.

I did not take massive offence to that post and I fully accept Gas apology, as I have also made mistakes on here when having had a few drinks.

But those comments to me were overstepping the mark whatever the situation of other people..

NOBODY should have these thoughts towards another person and never post them, if this has happened that person should feel ashamed.
We all have personal upsets in our life, my eldest son had a life threatening accident when he was 5 and after 10 months in Southampton general and by a miracle he finally came home, yes he is now brain damaged but I still have him, I would never wish this on anyone. If someone started wishing or calling someone brain damaged I wouldn't appreciate it. We all have the freedom to write on this site but must know the point in over stepping the mark and when to stop.

It's about having respect for each other - after all we share a common interest - football in Bristol
A bit of wumming/banter is fine

Can't argue with that at all. It certainly was not 'ok' and I hope that kind of thing will never get repeated - by Gas or anyone else.

Best we all stick with football, eh? Oh, and tax dodging ....<laugh>

Agreed - Gas was out of order, although his 'cancer' comment was in the context of daft general abuse and he apologised afterwards and deleted the comment. It was aimed at ROD, who I don't think took offence, but we all thought '**** - CJS ain't going to like that' after what he has very recently gone through.

I'm afraid the latest spat was on a completely different level. There was some unpleasant personal threats and inferences of 'I'm gonna find out where you live' etc. etc and there's no need for that. And as far as I'm concerned that's far worse.

Come on - we've taken the piss out of each other for years. But threats? That's not on.

Sorry but I don't think saying "I'm going to find out where you live" is worse than saying " die of cancer/ hope you get a brain tumour"

Anyway have in the the Conference next season, tell us all about it yeah :)

I am a self confessed ****, always have been and always will be however, when I read some comments I had posted the following day I was ashamed and apologised unreservedly. Part of me thinks it's an anonymous forum where you can post what you like and if folk don't like it they can **** off but in reality, with particular regard to the Bristol boards, we do share a lot of banter and chat and I definitely went one step too far.

In part I blame general chat, where I often reside alongside the lowest scum of the universe<whistle>

ps; I`m still waiting for APL to catch up with me, he did say he was checking my IP to find my address but no show so far :( I am currently in Leicester (part of my company auditing team doing the rounds) and am residing at the Holiday Inn Leicester City Centre. Will be in the bar around 7ish ;)

No excuse, your comments were bang out of order.

An apology would suffice though and then the matter can be dropped.

Take down your kegs and see if your cock touches your ass, if it does go **** yourself <ok> ****

Post again when you're in the Bristol Holiday inn..

I'll come and dig you one myself..:wink:

<laugh>

You'll have to join the queue and it's a long one. From the moment I posted the M69 in to Leicester is at a standstill. :D
