I know some fans may feel put out by the travelling but it was the right thing to do stopping the game for another day as players and fans must be in shock as u dont expect this to happen.
Hopefully he will be ok and playing again in the near future but it doesnt sound great.
Heard this whilst stuck on the M4 westbound coming back from Wycombe. I was listening to the rugby and was just passing a horrible multi-car pile-up on the opposite Easbound so I was already shaken.
Seems the whole of White Hart Lane were chanting for him. Brought a lump to my throat. My prayers are with him and his family - along with those poor others pulled from the wreckage on the motorway
Shocking news, my thoughts are for him and his family.....fingers crossed. It seems like our fantastic medics were doing a great job in trying to save him..
I agree it puts things into perspective, we had that situation a few matches ago, with the spectator and I know friends then got up and walked out of the ground because they could not watch it!
As already said it's only a game and this puts things into perspective. Also shows that football fans can pull together when needed. Hopes and wishes go out for full recovery.
