Thoughts and prayers are with Fabrice, stretchered off during the game for Bolton v Spurs apparently not breathing
I know some fans may feel put out by the travelling but it was the right thing to do stopping the game for another day as players and fans must be in shock as u dont expect this to happen. Hopefully he will be ok and playing again in the near future but it doesnt sound great.
Heard this whilst stuck on the M4 westbound coming back from Wycombe. I was listening to the rugby and was just passing a horrible multi-car pile-up on the opposite Easbound so I was already shaken. Seems the whole of White Hart Lane were chanting for him. Brought a lump to my throat. My prayers are with him and his family - along with those poor others pulled from the wreckage on the motorway
Shocking news, my thoughts are for him and his family.....fingers crossed. It seems like our fantastic medics were doing a great job in trying to save him..
Hats off to ESPN to realise the seriousness of the situation and stop cameras rolling on the pitch, and just showing spectators!
sky sports news saying he is now in a critical condition in intensive care in a heart attack centre at the hospital. i didnt see the incident as was not watching the game but things like this puts everything into perspective. here is a pic from his twitter https://twitter.com/#!/fmuamba/status/162228181796012033/photo/1 having kids myself, this serious situation and this pic has really got me choked up. all the best fabrice, thoughts and prayers goes out to you and your family and those close to you.
I agree it puts things into perspective, we had that situation a few matches ago, with the spectator and I know friends then got up and walked out of the ground because they could not watch it!
Agree about perspective - at the end of the day football is just a game. Let's hope that Patrice makes a full recovery.
As already said it's only a game and this puts things into perspective. Also shows that football fans can pull together when needed. Hopes and wishes go out for full recovery.
