Widely reported by who? The Mirror? They started it off didnt they.

As the poster above my last 2 states, nobody knows but I am just having an educated guess than Barcelona are not stupid and wouldnt agree to such a clause.

Have you seen the sort of clauses Spanish clubs put on players, fabregas' release clause is 200million euros. Messi is like a billion.

If I am wrong and its shown to be the case I shall be here apoligising to you all <ok>

I mean do you think Barcelona are ****ing stupid?

But you have no problem believing that Arsenal are? This was reported way back at the time of the sale, because it was the only way Arsenal would let him go for less than 80M. Barcelona didn't agree to it out of choice. It was the only way they could sign him. These details were released at the time of the sale.

The only think Cym pointed out was Fab missing the last game of the season, but he was injured, the complaint was that he didn't come to watch, not that he didn't play. At that point there was a media frenzy and I am sure he just didn't want any part in it. Really wasn't a big deal.

Which Arsenal shareholders said that first refusal and the 50% sell on fee was incorrect ?

A 50% sell on fee on a £30m player sounds extremely unlikely to me, not sure any club would ever agree to that. The buy back option maybe but like people have said, its not a given that he would rather rejoin us than go to Utd

Not sure how i could be winding you up by stating you dont have such a clause. Ive given reasons why, its just my opinion based on a few things.

    I'll leave it at that.
    ---------------------------------

United talk is about Woodward coming back for something urgent. A midfielder is urgent. Apparently something has changed so somethings now a go...

Make of it what you will, it wont be a ****ing defender though, weve got a million of them already <laugh>

You made a big profit on a player that Barcelona consider you stole from them on a free.

I wouldnt call that stupid, pretty ****ing clever tbh.

Are you going to answer my question about which Arsenal shareholders you said had indicated that the 50% sell on and the first refusal to buy him back was incorrect. Or are you instead going to admit that you were talking ****e ?

Ah, didnt understand your post earlier Piskie.

Erm, I cant think of their names so will have to read back through 40 ****ing pages on redcafe to find the links to the guys twitter accounts.

I can only muster up a Daniel so far. Think he may of been mentioned in your summer transfer thread as well. Though Cym stated he's chatted **** before. Even so he is likely to know more than us if anything at all.

Well its true he could be bullshitting but he seems to have some friends in the media who dont question him, one being this guy https://twitter.com/Matt_Law_SM.

Strangely enough hes the chief football writer for the paper that originally made the claim.

Here's another interesting piece of news.. Baines apparently not starting for Everton tonight, not even on bench. Not trying to imply anything UIR, just saying. <ok>
