Can someone say if CTWD had the nerve in their submission to the FA to make the assertion that the application was all to do with sticking two fingers up to the counci?
And so say all of us - the vast majority of fans who couldn't care less about this proposed name change.
Th The vast majority would love just to concentrate on the football But we keep getting this ****e dragged up which is no fault of the fans
Para 94 & 95 Original decision doesn't count anymore, but he has to reapply I can see him trying to challenge that actually ( if original decision is dead why can't they consider application again without reapplying?) Either way it is highly likely that pass holders will be balloted next season, so if you want a say you'd better be one If he does ultimately win then you'll have seen the club to the bitter end and held its hand while it dies
Try it yourself - ideally before posting nonsense on here. The FA set aside the original application. It has to be re-submitted. Or - if there was any sense in the Allams' heads - DROPPED
Allam didn't want this brought up before the seasons end. Does that mean he wanted people to buy passes before it was back on the agenda. That would have been kind of him
The FAs decision was valid. They couldn't prove Malcolm not declaring his interest affected the vote in the membership committee one way or other. The bulk of the report explains why the original application didn't meet the criteria. There was no business case and no valid ballot of supporters. As a result the original application would have failed. Its too late this season for a new application so they ruled he could submit a new one next season, allowing the club time to meet the criteria, ie prepare a business case and ballot supporters. If the process and vote was flawed they'd have instructed the FA to reconsider their vote. Its up to him, does he take the FA to court to get them to hear the application or does he submit a new application next season. Interesting times in deed.
