Just heard the news that Wayne Rooney has been let off. I'm disgusted by the decision, and what ticks me off the most about the decision is the inconsistency of the FA, which they have shown in 3 other cases in the season that all affected us and our players were banned for.

Case #1: In the exact same week that Joey Barton was correctly banned for that dig on Pedersen, Tom Huddlestone is let off for a far more dangerous jumping stamp on Johan Elmanders chest who was vulnerable on the ground after making a slide tackle.

Case #2: Mike Williamson is banned retrospectively for an elbow/bodycheck on Johan Elmander, even though Howard Webb had dealt with the situation by awarding Bolton a Free Kick. However Wayne Rooney has just been let off as retrospective action cannot be dealt with if the referee already took action?!

Case #3: After claiming to be injured and not being checked on first hand by the England U20's medical staff, the FA were all set to make an example of young Nile Ranger by banning him for a game, however someone politely pointed out to them that Chris Smalling of Man Utd did the exact same thing, so instead of banning the 2 of them, they decided to let it go.

Verdict = Poor Johan Elmander

****ing Abysmal! Joke is what the FA are. Governing Body of Man U, oh and them other teams in the... League 1.

Sorry, Premier League.

i must say the willo incident comes straight to mind.

mild mannered Mike body checks elmander and he's hung drawn and quartered despite there being next to no outcry for him to be punished.

Wayne rooney; shagger of prostitute pensioners and the guy that cheated on his pregnant wife with a hooker, with a sketchy disciplinary record littered with with stamping incidents, foul mouthed tirades at referees etc gets away with a blatent elbow in the centre of the pitch which has been widely condemened and shown countless times and is without doubt deliberate escapes a ban...

I find it ****ing criminal. if that was barton he'd be in front of a firing squad as we speak. the hypocrisy is staggering.

How is Rooney's diffrent from Williamsons?

Obviously both challenges were diffrent and willo didn't assualt Elmander in the same fashion, but the ref didn't see it and gave a free kick in both cases efectivly dealing with it.

Williamson - Howard reviews the case and gives him a "Retrospective" red card

Clattenburg - Doesn't review it and lets him off for assault.

Why?????

Apart from he a manure player
