Anyone keeping an eye on the games this weekend. Draw is on Monday I think for 1st round proper. Dunstan v Gateshead. Down my neck of the woods there is Stockport County and Salford. I guess we'll be the team that most non league teams will want to be drawn against.

Sometimes the revenue created for those non league sides can sustain them for a long time, its always a nice gesture when one club gives all the profits to the other, wonder if we'll do that if we're against a proper non league side that's falling apart.

I bet we get an upper/mid table league 1 team, away. Out of curiosity, can a non league team still change the venue to the home of the larger team if it helps them more financially? I remember it used to happen quite often a few years ago but I never hear of it happening now.

More travelling time for the red and white army.
But hardly a plum draw, eminently winnable.

When I think of Port Vale I think of the last time we were in the 3rd division. I'm pretty sure we clinched promotion there.

Our Cup run in 92 started with a win against Port Vale - at Roker Park though
