He's a proper footie fan. Really like the bloke. Even though it was against us, I loved the way he dived in the crowd and celebrated with the fans when they scored against us. Football needs more people like him in the game
Moureen will spoil and park the bus and the game will be ****, not like the one today. his "tactical masterclass" is to make the game unwatchable and hope a long ball to Fellani can give them a chance...
Anybody got one of those auto-play links of the Matic (or Willian) goal they can post to annoy the spuds with ?
Lucky number seven for Chelsea - the stats Chelsea have reached their seventh FA Cup final of the 21st century, more than any other side in that time (Arsenal could equal it on Sunday). Tottenham have now lost their past seven FA Cup semi-finals in a row, the longest ever such run in the competition. Eden Hazard has scored five goals against Tottenham in his Chelsea career, more than he has against any other side. Christian Eriksen's two assists mean he has provided more than any other player in all competitions among Europe's big five leagues this season (20). Including penalty shootouts, Chelsea have won 10 fixtures at the new Wembley Stadium, second only to Manchester United (11). Meanwhile, Tottenham have suffered seven defeats at the ground (including shootouts), more than any other side. Harry Kane has scored 21 goals in his last 24 London derby matches in all competitions for Spurs. Dele Alli has 20 goals in all competitions this season, double his tally from last season.
One thing that won't get mentioned in the media...spurs and chelsea fans freely mixed nefore and after with no trouble ... but as it aint Everton Liverpool it didn't happen in the eyes of the press...not digging at the scousers...just the press Coys
Great to hear that. If there had been any agro, you just know the rags would have been all over it like a rash. Great semi-final. I didn't get to see it as I was at a food festival today, but caught the last 20 mins on the radio in the car. (the best bit, hearing the spuds heartbreak ) Anyway, credit to both teams for giving their all and serving up a feast of top quality football. Now watch us fold against a ****e City side in a deathly boring game tomorrow.
Seeing the Spurs fans exiting the arena with ten minutes left on the BBC looked like the second exodus. That Moses is a wag.
Think tomorrow could be a cracking match...decent attacking teams with poorish defences...could another goal fest...cmon you blues
I have no idea what Arsenal team will turn up tomorrow, we could be really up for it and battle for a win, or we might just fold like a pack of cards. The one thing I won't be doing is predicting an Arsenal v Spurs final, with Spurs 'drilling three or four past Arsenal' like HIAG did
There were a few plastic bottles and cans thrown (both with beer still in them) near the top of Wembley Way by both sets and then those fans went to clash but the police prevented it all from kicking off, aside from that I didn't notice much else. Pretty mild compared to some of the scenes I saw at their place and The Lane this season.
it was an excellent semi final, probably the best that there has been far many years. It would have been even better with a proper referee
First off ... cracking match. The real difference was the bench. Ericksen with the assist of the season and Matic with one of the finest strikes.
