Doesn't answer my question.Who has had the most home draws since the league started? 1st division and PL?
sell him one of them plastic Roses, the ones with a little light bulb in them that should do the trick
On the other hand, modern players drink far less than their 70s predecessors, and very few of them smoke. They also eat less chips, and sausages in batter are off the menu.
Mind you,the players in those days didn't suffer with hamstrings and whatnot as they do today. …...and watering the pitches all day to applease the tv lot doesn't help their legs, either!
I was only saying this the other day, way too much watering of the pitches now, and resulting in an increase in injuries. It's done to speed the game up, more athletic, it was never how the game used to be played. Ern commented the other day on the Gills pitch being like a cabbage field, but that pitch was quality compared to some old League One (Prem) grounds back in the day. For some reason players are deemed better and more quality players if they can play it at an athletic pace on saturated pitches, but all it has really done has turned players into fooking fairies that do crocodile death rolls everytime someone touches them. I doubt many of todays football players would last five minutes in a game of rugby which is what football evolved from. No wonder women's football is starting to take off, after all if the guys are going to act like girls, we might as well have girls playing at the same level, with the same level of support.
