There are more European matches though, forest played 9 matches to win the European cup, Liverpool played 13. Chelsea played 11 games to win the UEFA cup in '98, 15 to win the Europa cup in 2019. Football has changed a lot too, it's far more physically demanding now than it was 20 years ago.
