Best tube station is Highbury & Islington as I don't think the Arsenal station opens on match day. H&I is on the Victoria line, but it is also on The Overground and you can get a train there from Willesden Junction. Train from Aylesbury will take you into Marylebone, so take a tube from there. BUT I would check the web on every route as Sunday is engineering work day and some options might not be available. I might walk back to St. Pancras after the game, it's a bit of a trek, but if we win there are some good pubs to drop into on the way.Tempted to go along on Sunday , although it would mean an early start for me ... Can anyone advise if it is likely to be a straight forward journey from Hemel Rail station to Arsenal on a Sunday , what is the best underground station for the ground ?
Just realised train from Aylesbury may well be a better option , has anyone on here done that route ?
Pack your oxygen H, it's supposed to be very high up there.we will be in upper tier 1, whatever that means, and on the £1 coach, thanks Pozzos!

there are 3 tiers above the bottom, i assumed 1 would be the lowest, and 3 the highest...lordy, i hope i'm not right at the top, i'll hate it! lol

Just what I was told H - I have only been on the Lower Tier and could not remember the rest of the ground. Fingers crossed for youthere are 3 tiers above the bottom, i assumed 1 would be the lowest, and 3 the highest...lordy, i hope i'm not right at the top, i'll hate it! lol
Thanks - I was sure one station did not open after matches. Maybe it was H&I or Holloway Road?According to the Arsenal website it does. Just expect queuing. Thats probably where I'll be heading, if I get tickets. I'm waiting til they go on general sale to get Mrs Bloother a ticket so we can go as a family. If not, it'll be the local pub. I've already got Prem tickets and plan a detour to the Highbury Stadium for trip down memory lane. Remember '87?
Apparently according to Twitter, we had sold around 4,500 about an hour ago so I suspect we will eventually sell out but not before Thursday. Those £1 coach seats are brilliant ..we do have great owners .
Still debating whether or not to go .It's a long day out from Buckingham ..will have to wait for when tickets go on general sale and my footy sidekick has to work Sunday .
Do you think we will sell all 9,000 tickets ? I can watch it live on BT sports .
I remember going to a match at Stamford Bridge just after the new main stand was built , it was very steep and we were high up ...Felt sick and dizzy for most of the game .i would have thought tier 3 was higher? i wanted where you are but i was outvoted...i hate being high! Poop!
I went to see us play Chelsea with a Chelsea and a Arsenal mate and we sat in that stand. I tried to keep very quiet, but I think when Barnes scored, I must have let slip. At the end some Chelsea knuckle dragger started to have a go at me and my Chelsea mate tried to calm him down and got nutted for it! Lucky that the knuckle dragger ran off quick as my Arsenal mate is huge and if he has caught him he would have landed on the pitch - that was my first experience of being so high up as well!I remember going to a match at Stamford Bridge just after the new main stand was built , it was very steep and we were high up ...Felt sick and dizzy for most of the game .
My lady found it difficult being high up in the Rookery a few weeks back ...I loved the view , it's a gentle slope compared to many other stands .
Pretty high up at Spuds the other week. Fortunately I dont tend to suffer...unless we lose!!I went to see us play Chelsea with a Chelsea and a Arsenal mate and we sat in that stand.
