Why does everyone think this is a winnable game. You know we will put out a much changed side. NB is getting Oli and Garce fit for it and will throw a lot of others in, Harper, McShane, Adi, East etc.They will not have played together for some time (if ever) and it will be a struggle. We never play our best team in cup games. It's some sort of City rule.
I'd be happy to speculate on who will play when it comes to the week of the game, but as we don't know what our first team will be by then, it seems bizarre to be predicting a second XI for a game in a month's time. I'm pretty sure neither Kilbane nor Cullen will be coming back in January though. Cullen needs more game time because he's been so unlucky with injuries this year and we obviously don't want to be paying Kilbane's wages. I'd hope the likes of East and Bradley are involved, in fact the more youngsters we involve, the merrier.
