what is a good draw these days? even liverpool or arsenal away isnt as exciting as it once would be, in fact id half expect a result due to performances there in recent years.. ipswich at home is a draw we have a good chance of winning, and if we dont, not far to go home so i class it as a good draw.
In that respect I agree. I'd rather win than play a PL team, we played them all in the last couple of years anyway.
We're never going to win the FA Cup, and if we keep playing 'beatable' teams like Ipswich then we'll end up on a pointless cup run, in poor league form and less likely to be playing Premier League football again!
millwall kept getting draws like this in 2004, and got all the way to the final....done the premier league, that can wait for another year, city in a cup final is next on the list..

A winnable tie and at least it isn't ****ing Wigan again! Part of me thinks a good cup run wouldn't be too bad, and even though we only played them all a couple of years ago it would be good to get a game against one of the premier league's top 6 or someone like Newcastle, Everton or Villa (home or away).
ONLY TO THE WEIR BAR IN HESSLE. Dont expect Bullard to play in this game do you ? Nicky will be waiting if he does. Lol.
well after we beat Ipswich Town, how about Sheffield Utd @ home in round 4 ? lower league team who will bring some support with them ? Expect Grimsby to lose there in rd.3 after they beat Salsbury in the 2nd rd reply.
I'm actually quite pissed off about this draw and I'll explain. I most likely won't be coming to this, and I've been looking forward to Jimmys return for ages. If he plays and I miss it due to the ****ign stupid cup I will be well and truly pissed off beyond belief. I'm glad we've drawn a winnable fixture, just wish it could be someone else. A lower league game in the midlands would be perfect for me If Bullard doesn't play, which I doubt he will, I won't give 2 ****s. But it's a good possibility he will if Dipshits ****e run of form continutes, they might play a first team in hope of getting a result and improving confidence.
well i was going to say how about Lesta away in rd.4 but they will lose @ Forest in rd.3 so how about Tamworth or maybe Derby Country then ? lol. bet your a happy chappy today after satdee.? what a result and well worth the pain of Burnley and Saints....Just. win weds and Hull are back on track especially with games against Coventry and Millwall after that one. 9 pts anyone ?
no need. but i dont see that happening again. Fair play to Burnley they are on a roll now. Eddie Howe puts there last 3 wins down to the Birmingham away defeat just b4 they came to the KC. but yes no game is easy in this league but after the run of games we have just had these 2 are most welcome.
Oh yes, been gloating to all my mates and other Leicester fans around here. Nearly got in a fight in Leicester a few weeks ago for singing city and anti pearson songs at full voice on a night out, was great fun! Would have had alot of egg on my face if we'd lost after all the winding up I was doing since Pearson left. Needless to say, I just loved that moment walking in the pub as soon as I got home and shouting 'Pearson, what's the score!' and to be honest I'd probably pay my entire personal wealth to live that moment again Won't need to though as we'll beat them again at the crisp factory next year, can't wait!
yes but then again i am greedy and we need to make up for the burnley and saints games. so its gotta be 9 pts for me. 7 is the minimum i expect though.
tell you what. i can see NP having a few issues over the next few weeks with some of the egoes @ lesta. and he will need far more than 8 million thats for sure. Matt Mills is now suspended until New Years Eve game. can U immagine the songs that will be sung in march @ the King Prawn Plaza if NP and Lesta are struggling ?
There's no point looking at the games in batches. We'll try to beat Birmingham, then try to beat Coventry and then Milwall. I don't think you should ever go into a home game aiming for a draw unless it's against Man U or similar (which there isn't an equivalent of in this league) what with Coventry being bottom we should be aiming to win all 3 but as we know, it never works out how we expect it.
