Bloody Leeds, getting a habit of knocking out the big names. Everton, now Tottenham. Mark my word it'll be Arsenal or Chelsea next.
Interesting trivia. "LUIS SUAREZ has spoken about the double meaning of his trademark goal celebration. Whenever the Liverpool striker scores, he kisses his wrist, where he has a tattoo of the name of his two-year-old daughter Delfina â an anagram of the word âAnfieldâ. Suarez joined the Reds around six months after Delfinaâs birth, so is just a coincidence. But the Uruguayan, 25, likes the added significance. He said: âI didnât know her name was an anagram of Anfield but my wife has told me people here in Liverpool say that when I kiss my wrist, Iâm doing it because I have âAnfieldâ on there. âItâs a total coincidence but a very nice one at the same time. Maybe it was fate.â The gesture appeared somewhat unfortunate when Suarez used it to celebrate the winner in Liverpoolâs 2-1 FA Cup third-round victory at non-league Mansfield on January 6. please log in to view this image
Fantastic stuff by Oldham with a goal either side of half-time - Jones didn't eve flap for that 3rd goal.
Oldham's Baxter is a good player and Smith a real handful up front, beating Skrtel up. Right back good too, but I think he's on loan form Citeh.
Yes, indeed, 15 mins to go, weather looks absolutely awful up there at Boundary Park, rain just teeming down, which you would think should favour Oldham. Apparently in his time there as manager, Joe Royle used to call it "Ice Station Zebra".
Sturridge has done some really awful dives today, I loved the one we he screamed out and the ref ignored it and he got right up and sprinted away.
