  4. In fairness I only knew because we had to go there in the 5th round. You never forget such a hideous experience - utter ****hole

Went to Blackpool in 1991 for 3rd Round match. Was a storm with 50 mph winds driving rain and hail and near freezing temperatures (with wind chill it was minus 3 or 4 degrees).
Blackpool away end faced the north sea , had no shelter and was cold as ****. Was like standing on the North face of the Eiger.
Was so windy that our keeper took a goal kick and nearly scored an own goal <laugh>
Was the worst game ever but we won with a Paul Stewart goal.
Wore jogging bottoms under my jeans, t-shirt, 2 jumpers, a coat and scarf, 2 pairs of socks, boots, hat and two pair of gloves and still froze...didn't thaw out til Watford

@Spurlock...if you go, do take @Hoddle Is A God with you ... his marital arts skills will come in handy ... his flailing dildo nunchucks could be the difference between you getting home in one piece ... <laugh>

Nunchucks not needed, no one will cross the line with ‘The Bare Knuckled Barrister’. The strongest wrists in Christendom.

  12. As Arsenal proved, every game is a potential banana skin.

Mind you, Wenger has only himself to blame, despite the fact that he’s been slagging off the players, telling the media how ****e they were. You picked them, you old fool!

Looked a tricky pitch from the footage of the Leeds game ... never as easy as it appears on paper going to such grounds ... could be an interesting one ... the longer it stays nil nil the more nervous the Spurs players (and fans) will get <laugh>

If you score in the first 15 minutes I'd agree ... but if you don't and it's a narrow pitch that cuts up ... might just get interesting ... hope so ... everybody loves a cup upset <whistle>
