OK for me. Tickets purchased. Missed out on a ticket in ‘84 so that’s a 35 year wait over for me to see the mighty ‘Orns in a Cup Final!
I can't go. It's my boy's fifth birthday on Sunday 19th and I had promised a while ago to take him to a restaurant on the Saturday evening. He is so happy to be going and I cannot break a promise to him. I missed 1984 and now 2019. I can't even watch live on telly as we will have to leave the house at 6pm.It's not the same watching a recording, but that will have to do. Ah well, maybe I can go when we reach the final next year.
Took me from 9-00am till 12-50 to get through all the problems 50nins of which was to process the payment Couldn't get the seats I originally located because the site froze and crashed and had to go back in by which time they had gone Phone line was an absolute waste of time, each time I rang automated message said press one and then a couple of minutes of bleep bleep then disconnected Not an outstanding service for this day and age I almost but not quite preferred the old queing at the ground
Sorry, I have learnt in the past of the risks of selling on a ticket ( even for cost ) and the dangers of "loaning" out your fan ID to someone you don't know personally.
Thanks for even considering it. Very true that I only 'lend' my ID to someone I know. I had hoped that each STH would get 2 tickets - but only to registered ID holders perhaps with a history of attending at least one match (the second ticket that is). Not to be.
I have whoopeed about getting ours confirmed on another thread... Oops. But I will just whopeeeeeee again! Come on you horns! Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
I wanted to come over, old man offered 50% of the flight cost. But, can't do it with work (grim). I can't justify spending what would result in 4+ months´ wages here for a 3 day visit. If I was younger and didn't have a mortgage or was filthy rich, I would have gone! I have bought a few scratch cards recently, (desperate times I know) but to no avail! Anyways, it is on ESPN here, so at least i won't have to put up with a shoddy link! That is scant consolation I know, but I'll take it!
Those of us that will be there will be sure to give the boys a shout and sing for you Mex (and anyone else who’s unable to make it!).
We’ve got 6000 tickets left all between £115 and £250 Prices are a disgrace Will sell out though as only went on sale Tuesday
Not Envious, those of us who queued outside the ground for 6 plus hours for final tickets 35 years ago, despite having the required vouchers from previous league games, should really get complimentary VIP tickets this time - if its like the semi final though dont envy you trying to peer through all those flags ! (they hadnt been invented in 1984)
