I hoped Chelsea would win, but Arsenal were far the better team. Chelsea seemed to be picking up injuries easy as anything. When Giroud first went down, I thought here we go. Then the only decent player Chelsea have got pulls up with a hamstring (Pulisic) it's game over. I don't know if it's the continued watering of these pitches that cause players to pull up like this, but Arsenal handled it, so no excuses. The sending off was harsh but it summed up Chelsea's game really. I thought the first goal by Arsenal (disallowed) was a cracker, shame that couldn't have been the equaliser, rather than the penalty. Obviously though, Arsenal are not used to winning trophies these days, as they dropped the bloody thing.
 
Regarding the trophy lift/drop.

I dont think the gooner players are too bright you know.
1st before picking up the thing, boomerang looks utterly baffled at the bottom bit of it.

Then he picks it up all wrong, I mean it just common sense it has a base ffs.

Then after holding the base he ****ing forgets why he's holding the base and drops the ****.

But wait, then you've got Pepe and about 4 ithers looking seriously concerned and trying to fix it back on like it was broke<laugh>

Some stoopid **** and funny af<laugh>

I remember those days in the 1970s as a kid and the 90s and early 2000s...the dark years!!!
That's why we have loved the last 14 years.
13 years of European football including 5 in the CL and one trophy.

Compared with 1 season in Europe and 1 trophy and 4 relegation battles in the previous 14!!!

It aint the successes of others but for me it has been great.
Would loved a few more trophies but it weren't to be...<wah>

Footballers are pretty thick though.

Tbf Henderson comes across as the thickest **** on the planet. Thank fck the CL don't have a base mate but even then they didn't take a chance with that gormless twat and handed it to him <laugh>

We’ve come a long way under Arteta already. A year ago, we go 1-0 down to Chelsea and we fold like a sack of ****. Now though Arteta has got this team believing and he’s given them a backbone.
