Eyup Arsenal, don't worry, i just want to ask you lot a few innocent questions. I come in peace and all that.

I suppose my first question is, what did you think of our performance on the day ? Were we worthy opponents ? Did any of our players stand out for you ? And i mean for good or bad.

I don't mind at all,if you answer in a negative way, all i ask is that you will be honest,and especially,please don't just be....well kind to us/me. That would be futile,not at all what i'm looking for.

Here is another important question....I'm still buzzing after that historic game at Wembley(Historic for us anyway),and i know a lot of us are,even though we didn't win. Do you feel the same,or do you just move on, kind of like "well yeah,we're Arsenal,we were always gunner(sic) win. I mean is it out of your'e system now ?

Should i have got over it by now ? <laugh>

Remember any thoughts on anything "Hull City" would be welcome, whether they be about Steve Bruce's head, or whatever.

I think we where by far the better team overall after santi's free kick went in you guys just sat back and was hoping to hold the lead for the rest of the match which was a risky plan. it was only a matter of time before we broke you down and won the match it was very nervey at the time but looking back at the match after santi's goal went in it was only a matter of time till we won

Thank's NLD, if i have to be honest, i felt the same same way,after Santi's goal. You were coming to get us. I think we did the right thing in sitting back though.

A lot of the time,a lesser side can hang on to a lead in that way.
 
I think Hull conbtributed to what was a good final, but the main contributor was our laughable defending in the first 10 mins.
Bar the header off the line I don't remember Hull threatening whatsoever after your second goal, that suggested you sat back when what you should have done is put us under massive pressure in dead ball situations where we clearly couldn't deal with that threat.

Overall it would have been a travesty if Arsenal hadn't won, then again I sat and watched Wigan beat M City last year and that was similar.

I was drinking in Great Portland St from 11.30am, got speaking to several Hull fans and all seemed decent people happy to be there, the tube was good natured as was Wembley Way with both sets of fans singing and stopping for photo's.
It struck me how many kids (Hull) were there, presumably everyone who had a season ticket for KC stadium got final tickets ?
Generally a good atmosphere, the Hull fans seemed to do their club proud.

Apologies but Hull aren't a club I know an awful lot about and nothing stood out from the game for me other than Bruce's failure to adjust at 2-1 or to attempt more deep aerial threats....
 
I think we were a little passive in the first ten minutes, but both Hull Goals, although well taken, required good portions of luck. The second in particular bounced off the post at just about the only angle that could have led to a goal. Literally an inch either way and it would not have reached a Hull player.

But from the point Cazorla scored there was an inevitability about the comeback. I was nervous of course, but looking back on it I was a lot calmer than I really should have been.
 
You sat back after Gibbs cleared off the line and allowed us to come back. When Cazorla scored there seemed to be an inevitability about the result. Hull played with spirit throughout but were aided by an inept referee. I hope that you do better in the Europa cup next season

This. I love that we've seen some different teams representing England in Europe recently. Wigan last year (who admittedly were sh*te despite me wanting them to do well) and now Hull. The obvious problem for Hull will be managing the rigors of Europa and the league which was almost the undoing of Swansea. Best of luck to them though, will be nice wanting a team other than Arsenal (and Wigan) wanting to do well in Europe.
 
I was at Wembley and said to my mate I went with on the way home that Hull should be proud of the fans and the team. You came out and hit us early, a lot of the fans near me were saying if we didnt get one back in the first half it was over and fortunately for us we did otherwise it could have been different. The only thing I didnt like about your team on the day was the time wasting. It soured what would have been a great representation of Hull on the day. A lot of the fans even stayed after to watch the presentations. On the whole well done, you did yourselves proud, just cut out the theatricals and time wasting.
