Just checked, and Altidore is only 30, what the ****? Also, somehow, he's scored 42 times for the USA.
Still scoring 1 in 2 in the MLS and 1 in 3 internationally, rather better than the 1 in 35 he managed in England.
To be fair, reading the list, he's scored against a lot of decent nations Mexico, Spain, Turkey, Poland, Germany, Colombia, Chile and Denmark all feature... but so do 5 goals against Trinidad and Tobago and 3 against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines among other Caribbean sides.
Chelsea just went forward for the first time since that injury, I think. Second half has definitely not lived up to the first.
Another reason to want Chelsea to win: We can use the bollocks explanation that "we went out to the winners, at least" EDIT: Well that post aged ****ing quickly
Did Danny Murphy just claim that nobody has scored a hat trick in the FA Cup Final? This Stan Mortensen erasure is getting out of hand.
I’m not so bothered who wins, but by God I want Arsenal to lose. I doubt many ‘neutrals’ are quite so impartial as they were at the start.
How in the **** has Martinez got away with that? He just handled it outside the box! Hello, VAR? You there?
Apparently the reason that VAR didn't check the second yellow for Kovacic was because they only check red card decisions. HE WAS SENT OFF
