True but twice its happened in recent years in games that had no meaning. Thats why its doubly worrying.
please log in to view this image Christ calm down. It's 60 minutes of extra football, if that's too much for the bodies of these guys on 50k a week- then tough. This is another opportunity to get the side gelling and adopting a more attacking style.
I don't think that everyone agrees with you that the FA Cup 3rd round is a meaningless game..........especially the players!
That makes it no more likely to happen this time. Rolling two sixes in a row doesn't mean you're more likely to roll a 3rd.
I will be better if we get through this unscathed....but I really thought he would have rested players carrying partial injuries (Austin and Phillips). But these 3rd round FA cup matches have really affected us over the years, and we are in line for one more career/season altering event (Mackie/Faulin), before the curse leaves us!
How many fans have we taken to Goodison? That team selection is a huge boost for them. Well done one and all.
