So we have Bournemouth at home, a chance to extend our record as the team with the worse 3rd round record.

I think we have a chance at being chosen as one of the TV matches.

They won't be playing their first team players...we will because we have no depth in our squad

The question is whether we can beat Bournemouths B team

Yes, I think we'd have a chance at home against their B team with our first team.
I don't think Marti will play our first team.

Totally agree , there's no way Chair, Willock or Dykes will start in my eyes. The league is even more a priority than in previous seasons for us !

Arsenal v Liverpool and Sunderland v Newcastle will be the first 2 games snapped up for TV. They'll probably choose some lower league v higher league games too or a non league side. Be surprised if we're 1 of the televised games.

Given there is very little chance we'll win, even with out best starting 11, seems like the ideal opportunity to give Dykes, Willock, Chair, Field and co a bit of time to rest after the busy Christmas schedule (4 games in from 23rd December to 1st January!), and give Kelmann and other youngsters a place in the first 11.

How is it that every year, in virtually every round of both cups, Chelsea get drawn at home to lower league dross? Once they've fluked their way past Preston, watch them get drawn at home to Cambridge United, then Gillingham, then Grange Hill, then Me and My Mum.
