JWM, you think you're being funny and clever, but in all honesty, we don't give a **** what you think!
Stop everyone! The Ipswich's fans book of irrelevant history has come out not that anybody actually gives a flying **** or is actually interested.
You are very successful in managing to be very irritating without one iota of wit or cleverness, have to admit it takes a special dedication to keep going like you do; is there nothing else in your life
Tickets are going to be difficult to get for this game London Road is small anyone know what our allocation might be?
1500, maybe 2000. They have a standing end but also seating in a side stand for away supporters! I have a feeling i read somewhere ages ago west ham took 4k there last season but not sure.
God that's a worry. Posh demolish most East Anglian teams 7 - 1 Let's hope and pray we're not just the next sacrificial lamb!!
I've just thought of an extra incentive, guys. We could well be - assuming we beat Posh, the first team to do the double over the Fergusons Father and Son. Owned
London Rd Away fans are located in the Moyes Terrace. Usual allocation is just under 4,000 with a further 800 seats available to away fans in the Main (North) Stand. We can fill that surely!
You needn't bother posting on this part of the board, but oh sorry I forget your absolutely obsessed with our club.
I think for FA Cup games allocation has to be up to 25% of the stadium, it was a few years ago anyway
Nightmare draw. As I said on an early thread my son has become a Posh fan - we live in Peterborough and as a non-season ticket holder it is nigh on impossible to get to Carrow Road so we started going to London Road to watch live football. How much can I, the m,ature adult, P**s on his dreams? Not sure what the capacity is at London Road, never seen it close to full but those fans who call for a return to standing can experience the horror that is standing. The away stand is cr@p. Would imagine Posh will offer around 2,500 tickets depending on home demand.
In all matches preceding the Semi-Finals, the Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up to 15% of all accommodation for which tickets are issued providing these tickets are in a fully segregated area - Extract from FA rules (capacity: 14,640) according to Wiki which means about 2200
I think the Weeds brought 4000 down last year - I imagine we'll get 2500 or so, maybe more if Posh feel they won't sell their own allocation.
Sorry carrabuh, totally disagree. Yes, we have a good chance of going through, but no way is it as nailed on as you seem to think. Our record in the FA cup against lower teams doesn't exactly make great reading does it?
For those that do get tickets - and enjoy a decent pint, you've got the Palmerston Arms about 10 minutes walk from the ground An ale emporium, if ever there was one. please log in to view this image
