Cech, Ivan, JT, Mikel who started. Drogba, Lamps and Mata came off the bench and they'll more than likely start on Sat.
I think Ivanovic, Bosingwa, Terry, Cech, Mikel and Ramires will start. Then you've got Mata and Cole down as starters plus probably Drogba. The last two positions are a toss up between Meireles/Essien and Sturridge/Kalou IMO. EDIT: Actually forgot about Lampard, he'll start ahead of Meireles/Essien.
Cech Ivanovic Luiz Terry Cole Mikel Lampard Ramires Mata Kalou Drogba That'll be the team (unless Luiz is still injured)
yes right clicking on an image is such a chore.... it's all ****ed up anyway, it's fully loaded and it still freezes in the middle. As Baz would say, Fail!
Mikel I understand, but you're clutching at straws with the other two. Ba dived when Ivan put his elbow up and I haven't a clue where you got the Torres one from?
Ryan Taylor made a sliding tackle on him, and, though he never made contact (which is most likely why you can't remember the incident) Torres did make a stamping motion. It doesn't matter anyway, I wasn't saying he should be banned, just pointing it out. He's done it in a Liverpool shirt on occasion, too. Regardless of Ba's reaction, Ivanovic clearly moved his elbow towards him with the intent to make contact. It's like the Terry one on Sanchez. Sanchez could've stayed on his feet, because the 'challenge' itself wasn't enough to take him down, but it was still a red. Why was he putting his 'elbow up' at that point anyway? It served no purpose but to make contact with Ba.
Well I didn't see Torres' so I can't comment but I'm completely disagreeing about Ivanovic. It was a complete dive, it wasn't an off the ball incident either, it was there to be won unlike the JT incident. If the ball had been coming towards Sanchez JT wouldn't have recieved a red.
It wasn't a 'complete dive' by any stretch. After diving, how many players get up angrily and try to confront the person who's challenged them? Most are just smug that they won a free-kick. Ivanovic saw Ba backing into him and raised an elbow. Why did his elbow need to be out in front of his body at that precise moment? Why didn't he just leave his arms by his side, where they were? It was entirely intentional. You've already admitted you haven't actually seen one incident, after boldly claiming I was 'clutching at straws', so why should I defer to your judgement on this one?
Erm because I saw that one? Stupid argument. It was a complete dive, he was barely touched and he rolled around in agony. You are aware you virtually said Ivanovic should be banned from an FA Cup final for sticking his elbow out aren't you? Utter bollocks. It was not an off the ball incident and nor was it vicious. Case closed. Oh and when I say clutching at straws, I mean because you obviously want him banned for the final so he can't play against you.
