Go and play your silly games elsewhere you Muppet and don't comment half way through a good debate quoting comments out of context
Incorrect. The vast majority of fans will be going to The Liberty to support the Swans, not nitpick as to what the manager is doing.
Malky mckay and sam allerdice are two classic examples of managers that like to patrol the touchline, one is sacked with his team bottom the other is second bottom. My personal view is that those that like to shout and wave the arms around on the touch line are just providing a bit of theatre for the spectators, its all an act really, if big sam screaming for 90 mins makes that much difference to players then why are they so poor ? Some managers love the show buisness, pardew is a great example,he loves milking the crowd, these are all insecurities though, the more they shout from the touch line the more they the more they show themselves to be either not in control or interested in self publicity . it would also be unacceptabe to fans for the managers of some clubs being seen not to do anything to effect the result! so if they prowl the technical area, to many that is seen as the manager doing his job, most managers will tell you that once they cross that white line there isnt that much you can do ,the players should know the job and the captain should be there to make sure team instructions are being carried out Its all bullsh
more response from the dugout MAY just encourage the fans to do the same....this season atmosphere is the worst its ever been and its no wonder we are nicknamed the library. the fix starts at the top not the bottom...
Have to say, just about anyone I speak to about the Swans in this season especially, at some stage in the conversation, inevitably comments on Laudrup's lack of pitch side presence or passion. When we went 2 down on Sunday, I felt his hands were tied in his ability to change the game tactically, but his visual presence if he had shown himself on the touch line, could have been enough to lift the team & the crowd..
jog on , we were having a good debate with no name calling or disrespect to anyone until you showed up....mods take note..
Im glad you are backing me up when i say these things Flying as i get called a liar on everything.....the fans are even starting to leave early because the game is dire and no atmosphere is shown by anyone. ML could quite easily change this by showing some leadership as there is zero at the moment..
I think I just mentioned presence, yeh that's right.. Malky Mackay went about things the right way. He stood on the touch line because he obviously felt it was the best way to be connected with his team during the match. The reason he's still not doing it is because of the 'tachey-tw@t' in the stand. Anyway, don't see what my post about Laudrup has anything to do with him.
I agree, It's been mentioned more than once down my local too, I've mentioned this issue numerous times on here, and it is one area that Laudrup needs to improve on. When you see a manager glued to his seat all game, you have to ask the question, does he see issues? if he does why doesn't he get up in whatever manner he chooses and impart that experience to the team captain or player concerned? You also have to remember that enthusiasm is contagious and will rub of on the team, yes they are Pro's, but they are also human, there is definitely a case for Laudrup to improve on his managerial skills pitch side, and it doesn't mean he has to wave his hands in the air like some lunatic either, just some common sense approach in showing he's in control and is the team manager, AV at arsenal in my view is a class act, dignified and yet he lets the team know he's there overseeing proceedings, in my view Laudrup has need of improvement in this area. I mean were is his passion for the game?...............
dragon everyone knows what you ,me and a few others are saying on this as it's what the managers job is all about, Leadership from the top is vital and without it the players wont know what is going wrong during the game as they are playing to the managers instructions and formation. you talk about AV continually giving his players instructions and encouragement during the game and that's why they are winners, all our previous managers did the same and it made us winners. ML should get off his arse and do the same and perhaps the fans might show a bit more support than has been shown this season...
No i cant see jinx making the same mistake twice as what he has with ML. He will make sure the next manager WILL keep to playing our philosophy and not take his word that he will and change things....Jinx and laudrup don't get on because of the way ML has ruined the club and his lack of enthusiasm. Most of the players don't get on with laudrup anyway and cant wait for him to go. He has lost the dressing room and the respect from nearly everyone at the club, he is so unapproachable. Jinx has learned a big lesson about using a big name player who has an ego bigger than the club that he will never make that mistake again....all we hope now is that we will survive the season until he goes....
And any direct quotes on the above statement by yourself ? I'm curious as to how you have the ear of the chairman .Wasn't he the one that give you the old "Spanish archer" Or is it a case of you embellishing a story from the newspaper ?
He will make sure the next manager WILL keep to playing our philosophy. Says who? Jinx and laudrup don't get on because of the way ML has ruined the club and his lack of enthusiasm. Says who? By we you mean you SEVEN sweeping statements without a FACT in sight
I see Ivor that both you and Norway have had enough of Dai? Surely he should be going down with the flu anytime soon, long overdue in my view and we are desperate for a break!....................
Don't get too technical now, so many questions, Dai deals in statements, so no way is he going to reply!................
