Is there any likelihood of radio commentary for this game, as it’s not being streamed? I used to be able to get Solent commentary through the Saints website but, unless I have dreamt it, that’s no longer an option and I don’t think it’s possible to listen to the radio commentary via the online Solent website. Unless someone knows otherwise.
Yeah I tend to agree. Martin has stuck with his system for the past five seasons and his tweaking of it gets more refined as he manages better players. The players seem to get a bit more freedom to express themselves too as we progress. The second goal against Rotherham was a good old fashioned long ball over the top and a goal that Pep would have been proud of. In the Prem when we were losing, players heads would go down and it was game over. Saints have a different mentality now; they believe in the system and fight to the end. I’m not going to think about next season as there is far too much to enjoy about this one. Leicester will no doubt win the Championship title, but under Martin, Saints are the entertainers and getting better with each game.
Difficult to predict this one until the teams are announced but i'm hoping for a more cohesive performance than the original game. If we get through i'll be happy and will take the Liverpool game as it comes, no game is a forgone conclusion and I don't expect that they will have their top team out.
I’m in Spain so not sure. Just tried 5 Live sports extra and got a “not in your location” message. Have played safe and paid £4.49 for a monthly audio pass on the Saints website, so will probably have Dean Hammond and the guy who commentates on the streams.
I am watching Jeff Sterling tonight, and I will be sneakily checking the score……just as well because it’s not being shown live.
Looks like Charles at RB according to teamsheet but it could also be Stephens. I'm happy with the team TBH. With 3 games in a week it makes absolute sense.
In the first game, until Martin brought Smallbone and Stu on we were so poor in midfield so I'm glad to see a strong midfield tonight.
Hoping for win, although we probably wouldn’t get past Liverpool. Be nice not to lose against a Championship side. However, preparing for defeat…not that I care
