It was four years ago almost to the day for our only ever meeting against Spurs at White Hart Lane and although we were three divisions below the Premiership outfit we gave them the fright of their lives going in at half time 2-0 up with both goals scored by Paul Hayes and it took Spurs until the 60 minute to get on the score board and then four minutes later they were level but we weren't finished and a great goal from Gary Thompson after 83 minutes had us all believing but two late goals killed our dreams. This time they come to our house and after our display in the 3rd round against PNE we are believing again it could be our turn for a cup run.

This is a must watch game for all of us get the beers in or cider if you prefer and watch the game its on BT Sport but I'm sure there are other ways of watching it and believe and lets hope for a great result <cheers>

Vipleague is the best stream i've found with a clear picture and no freezing up, i used it yesterday to watch Preston v Reading and the good part is you don't need to sign in to watch.

Good performance from your lads and a rather flattering scoreline for us.
We really struggled in the first half and couldn't finish for love nor money in the second, until right at the end.
Good luck for the rest of the season. <ok>

Bit harsh in the end but not disgraced. Lets be honest though like us it was more a case of hope rather than expectation so nothing to be too disappointed with. I always think that as long as you give a good account and don't get dicked off the park then it's ok.

Shows how tough you lot made it for us that we needed to bring on our big guns to get us the win.

Fair to say Rocky/ Stokey would be proud of both teams though tonight.

All the best guys and girls <ok>

Jose Mourinho had to bring on the big guns for Spurs to win the match. Says it all really. You defended extremely well, and it should stand you in good stead for the remainder of the season <cheers>

Did not deserve that? We were still there with a chance until the 86th min. I forecast the correct result to my family but until the 86th min we all thought we could pinch the winner. Heart breaking really. Proud of the boys but feel for them

Big mistake to bring on Bayo and Kashkett; Our No 9 was a big danger up front and that danger disappeared when he went off. Big shame we lost JJ early on

I thought it worked well. Akinfenwa won plenty of headers and Kashket was nearly on the end of a few things.
There were a couple of passes that just got picked off before they reached him and Ikpeazu had gone out of the game.
Really bullied Alderweireld in the first half, though.

Yes there was one lovely layoff from Bayo and I thought Kashkett was on it but unfortunately that was it. I suppose we should think ourselves lucky that the team that finished on the pitch didn't all start <yikes><laugh>

I think the Covid outbreak caught up with us a couple of players missing even on the bench, you could see the legs had gone that last 10mins, as Ainsworth said afterwards we only trained once in the last 8 days & it caught up with us. Still no disgrace when you look at the Spurs forward line that finished the game. Well done Wycombe.

You guys did great for 80 minutes, shame about the final score
2-1 would have been a fair result
Good luck for the rest of the season
