FA CUP 4th Qualifying Round Draw...

Don't know if anyone else caught this yesterday, but the 4th round draw is happening on Colin Murray's TalkSport program on Monday and for the first time ever is being drawn by two fans who Colin picked from the reprobates that phoned in with their FA cup memories...

One of the two winners was Blair a QPR supporter, who remembered fondly our FA cup run of 1982 (I think this was the last time we actually won more than 2 games in the cup...) anyhow Blair agreed to recreate the flag he made out of an old bed sheet that he took to the final and bring it in for the draw.

The flag (bed sheet) read 'PLASTIC OR GRASS - QPR ARE CLASS!'

Happy days...
 
You do not mean the 4th round draw or else you don't mean the FA cup do you Cannock....or am I in a timewarp?

I missed that bit but caught a bit about the other guy whose first final was the Trautman broken neck one and apparently the ref only had one arm.

Blair must know there is no way QPR will be in the 4th round draw...
 
Must be 1st round draw surely as the qualifying rounds are still in progress.....unless they know differently! !!!!
 
This will be the draw for the 4th Qualifying round, where the Conference Premier clubs join in.

Will we be involved at that stage this time next year?

Yes could be us next year....don't rate our chances vs Luton do you?

errrr yes thanks Terry i meant 4th qualifying round, when ever i see an FA cup round that is numbered more than 1, I obviously get very confused...

Beth you may however still be in a timewarp... try taking a little jump to the left and if that doesn't work take a step to the right...

I took one of my mums bed sheets and wrote - 'Our Curries so hot it burns off Archebalds' - in blue paint - in her lounge and it went through onto the carpet...so we had to pull the carpet up. True story - but the banner got on TV...so worth it at that age.

Mine said 'Our Bobby stops Crooks' which I thought highly original until I arrived to see half a dozen others!
