World biggest club v Derbyshires biggest club, cant get better than that. PS More people will watch that game than any other tie due to fan base and ITV/BT/SKY sells advertising on its audience figures.
ITV and Sky don't have FA Cup ties. And you inadvertently have pointed out exactly why the BBC shouldn't be allowed to get away with it.

Completely uninspired myself. What you say is the reason it will be on tv but what me and Libby are saying is that’s wrong. Man U’s Chinese contingent get to watch them every week in the league. It’s the FA cup 3rd round, famous for David v Goliath ties and those are more interesting to most neutrals in this country at least. Seeing as how most supporters of big clubs don’t achknowldge football outside the top division it’s not surprising the FA choose these games. Personally I think the non-league and lower league clubs that make it that far and get a big draw are more deserving of the tv revenue
Not surprised, I knew it was way more than 30 something, thought it might be early 50’s not 58 but it’s a joke tbh
They can be Manchester centric. In the early rounds last season I think, they were obsessed with Salford. At least it was a good story
... not so sure ... uninspiring tbh ... there will be a peak in viewing figures should United go a goal down mind
Mickey mouse cup One of the best games I have ever been to for drama, excitement and entertainment was Spurs v Wycombe. They went 2 nil up before ht. We pulled it back to 2 all early in the second half after making 3 substitutions before going down to 10 men cos of an injury for the last 20 minutes. They then went 3-2 up with 5 mins left before finally losing 4-3 to a last second goal. There was a packed ground and a great atmosphere due to the amount of away fans and matches under floodlights always seem dramatic. I love the fa cup...apart from the bloody semi finals
FA cup has regained some of its magic again recently. Not just saying that because we've won it 3 times in the last four seasons whereas Spurs ain't won it for 26 years, but there was a period in the early noughties where it seemed to lose some of its charm. The competition has provided some absolute belters down the years though. One that sticks in the mind recently was seeing Bradford hump the Chavs at their own ground. Maureen's little bitch rant afterwards was hilarous.
