He certainly did something nine months ago, though... Altogether now... She's one of our own She's one of our own Ivy Jane Kane She's one of our own
No way, wet T shirts rule and everyone loves a wet pussy. And surely the windows steam up quickly if it's too cold. I can't get Talkshite here, how about one of you guys ringing in and asking him why he's not out dogging?
Now that Bournemouth have an Ake-shaped hole at the back, a loan there could work out pretty well for both parties.
Pointless game. 3 at the back was far too defensive against a poor side and once again we only get a cameo from N'Koudou. Janssen's still Soldadoing it up. We're through anyway so that's good,
Not so sure about the choice of formation, because surely today was a match where the standard 4231 would have been more than sufficient to secure the result needed. For example, if the starting xi was Vorm; Trippier, CCV, Wimmer; Davies; Dier, Winks; Son, Sissoko, GKN; Janssen it's quite likely that we'd have created something in the first 45 minutes - and as has been said a few times on here since the summer (and a few times in this match thread) GKN looks like the perfect supply line to feed Janssen with crosses, yet the pair have only been on the pitch together for fifteen minutes against Gillingham.
We'll never know at this rate... He hasn't had more than 20 mins in any game other than the Mousers ELC match.
We'll never know at this rate...... Only game he's had more than 20 mins was the Mousers away in the ELC.
Job done. Not pretty. Move on. Some gains (mostly in time off the poitch for well-worn first choices). few losses. More of N'Koudou, please. He's like a supercharged Aaron Lennon!
If Janssen can get 31 goals in Holland, then I reckon that as an ex goalkeeper and at 63 years of age, then I could go over there and get 6 or 7.
I hate to say it but we may as well stick a youth prospect up front as they wouldn't do any worse and we may find the next Kane (we can dream) The problem is when you have invested £17m it would be a bold move by Poch!
Seems a bit chunky to me...needs to lose a few pounds, sharpen up physically which always helps mentally. Then he needs to stop trying too hard. He plays like the kid who gets picked last and spends the match running around like he's gonna get that ****in ball if its the last thing he does. If Kane gets injured we are in bother because Janssen is not up to the task as things stand. I can only assume Poch has more faith in Son deputising for Kane than some of us do.
He just doesn't seem to have a striker's instinct to me. His awareness, anticipation, ability to look for and find space, etc, are all just not there.
