Games coming thick and fast with all sorts of competitions. Vertu, Carabao, league and FA Cup.
As BBM said in his interview, there's been some inconsistency. Lots of changes, most enforced.
I think it was Ng said they still have to work on getting fit enough to play the style they want to.

BBM needs to get them up for this game. Could be a bit flat after the hype of Tuesday.
A new manager for posh. Could go either way for them.

Hopefully another long thread.

I can't see any point in not putting out our strongest side - subject to injury/fitness of course. No midweek game coming up so plenty of time for the players to rest.

Take the chance of a full competitive match practice (no disrespect to Posh) for his preferred eleven ready for an important league game at Blackpool next weekend.

Use his subs by all means, but starting bit part players in this competition to get them some game time is not the way to bond this squad. Key players need to play together as much as possible and this is a perfect opportunity.

I don't think BBM is one to make wholesale changes. His hand was forced against Newport being in an international window.
His interviews suggests he'll play the strongest side he can and he wants to win every game. He said as much in his pre-match interview. (He was funny talking about his wife's behaviour at Wrexham.).
No doubt there will be a few enforced changes.
It would be good to see Dak or Tanatswa get at least a place on the bench though.

I was hoping to find time to do a thread for this one, but sadly I've been covering for my manager at work so things have been rather hectic the last 2 weeks.

I did note though (when starting to gather info) that our first ever meeting against Peterborough was an FA Cup game in 1954 at Ninian Park.
3-1 win for the Bluebirds that day.
Will happily settle for the same result for us again today.
<cheers>

I reckon you should give up work.
