Still in the Premier League though aren't we. <laugh>

Aw, the Championship, I remember those days. Enjoy Yeovil away whilst we're at Old Trafford. <laugh>

Massive? naa. Premier League? YES <somersault>

You lads are fun. All the banter last season, the confidence you all had that you'd do better than little old Hull City...

I now understand why you lot cling to our forum the way you do... in your position, most of us would do the same.. so i cant blame you..

you want to be up there with the big boys.. we understand! its pathetic but we understand how you must feel..

    ....

"And now for the Sky Bet Championship Football Results...."

    "Charlton Athetlic 2... leicester 1...."

    <cheers>

Well, Matty gets fouled in the box, all the fans see Matty get fouled, "Oh, I hope he's O.K", Matty gets up, Matty rushes to Darren, Darren quickly gives Matty yellow, Darren then realises "Oh no, he's already booked!", Referee sends Matty off, Nigel gets angry at Darren, Darren says it was because "Matty ran up to me in an aggressive manner", Craig is very upset.

Only time I ever got sent off was for dissent. Called the ref a ****ing clown.

Fair play to him he pulled the card from his pocket and said " Clowns make people laugh, let's see if you find this funny."

He then shoved the red into my face.

    I feel Matty's pain.

    I feel it real bad.

... I suspect we might well enjoy our trip to Yeovil more than you will your Old Trafford experience <whistle>

... shame that the thread has gone downhill ... although it does coincide with the return to school for many kids ... they can get grumpy and overtired ...

Refs are always going to be protected, but its not like any of the moaners on the radio at 5 o'clock are sent letters from the football club giving them a 1 match ban.

Fans can always give their opinion, no matter how flawed, skwewd and abusive it is, all the manager has to do is mention the standard of refereeing and the FA send a letter home to his mum.

Nigel Pearson is a dour, morose, humorless individual with the charisma (and haircut) of an Easter Island monolith ...

Steve Bruce is a rather tubbly, excessively perspiring, middle-aged man with a demi-mullet and a funny nose ...

    ... so what?

I don't know, in our debut season in the Premier League we became the first team to score 3 at Old Trafford since Bayern Munich in 2003 (think that was the stat anyway). Still lost but made it an enjoyable experience.

You'll probably do that this season too given the shambles Man Utd are in.

Actually, the 4-3 on our previous top flight excursion was one of the most exciting aways I've done in well over thirty years.

If we do the same again, I'll be more than happy, we seem rather decent against the top teams this season(even if we do lose).
