Matt le Tissier was spot on earlier on sky sports. Both made a mistake, both apologised to each other and moved on. Why can't everyone else do the same?
The only one coming up smelling of roses in all this is Rafa, he's escaped the spotlight after his side failed to score in 180 minutes of football against us and the Chelsea fans who are crying about this are letting off the hook in favour of blaming a ball boy for wasting 5 seconds.
If Chelsea couldn't score in 180 minutes, then 5 seconds is going to make no difference whatsoever!
It's just the media trying to keep a story going in a quiet week and Chelsea looking for excuses, and to be honest it's getting boring now.
When is Suarez playing next to take the spotlight off us? <laugh>

    Yankee: One word:

    B O L L O C K S

No need for him to fall over even though there was very slight contact. He's learned from the likes of Chico I'm afraid. He then traps the ball under him and won't release it. This was part of a game plan that HE ADMITTED TO BEFOREHAND or have you forgotten that? He wasted time throughout the game & please don't say he didn't. When Hazard foolishly gets involved and toe pokes the ball he catches the lad in the ribs slightly but he rolls around like he's been been stabbed. Pathetic.

Regardless of the video the bottom line is that he had an intention to cheat before the game and did so. Whether this was on instruction is debateable but it looks to be the case bearing in mind Rodgers's comments. Again, pathetic, and more importantly it reflects badly on our Club.

You're one of the very few posters who can see no blame in this kid at all. Talk about rose tinted specs. <doh>

Both wrong, and as SA9 says, both apologised. That should be the end of it.

Its not about the kid its about Hazard and im afraid no matter how people try to justify the incidedent hazard was filmed putting his hands on the kid and that is a big no no in the game. I personally think the FA should drop the case against him but we know they cant be seen to do that as it lets in all sorts of possibilities, So he will have to take what punishment they give to him. they unfortunately cant do nothing about the kid now nor the club but they could have if hazard had not laid a finger on him...Its chelsea's problem now as its finished with us and we move on to the next game hopefully never to see charlie as a ball boy again....

    BOLLOCKS back!

Standing right there with you're expert super hero X-ray vision, you could tell exactly how much contact there was from the .... (yes, let me think for a minute .... yes, I'm sure this is Chelsea we're playing) ..... Prem League, super fit, solid as a rock, international, pro footballer with barely an ounce of fat on him, touches him light as a feather like and he swan dives (parden the pun) over, and then OMG forbid, just as he'd been practicing with his mates in ball boy training for weeks, willfully, so skillfully trapped the ball under himself for all of a second or two before he flinched at just the last moment when the boot went into to absorb the shock allowing him feign injury and get those tears flowing ever so sweetly to get the player sent off for appearing to act like a total prick.

You got me, I just didn't see all of that on the video. WTF - how did I miss all that; the battery must have run out on my super duper google goggles and everything went all blury like. Still I should know better of course, the fix was in, what am I thinking. The little urchin has us all fooled. What talent. What guile. Watch your wallets fellahs, the artful dodger has returned. Must have taken hours and hours for practice to make it all look so realistic. **** me, I must get that video and send into to the Oscars for the best actor in a supporting role nomination .... Jeez, we could even get Zita and Tony to add their support.

For less than five holy **** seconds, Chelsea could have done what they didn't do in 180 minutes of swarming all over us and scored two goals, no three goals to give us the finger and waltz into the final. Masterful tactics on the part of a kid to rob the mighty BIG team Chelsea for the one five second span when they were going to open us up like a can of sprats and execute on Rafa's brilliant plan to break our hearts right when we thought we were through.

    BOLLOCKS - indeed!!!

So Yankee, according to your biased, partisan, tribal BS, the ball-boy, sorry, Ball-MAN, didn't at all behave in anyway unsportingly by first ADMITTING on Twitter he was going to time-waste etc to assist Swansea in winning, and then by going down as bad as Suarez, and then laying atop the ball so Hazard couldn't get on the game?

If your answer to this question is No, then you are the most biased, blinkered and partizan football fan I've come across, and as a Liverpool fan who has interacted with 1000s of Reds fans over the years and even seen some of them try and justify Suarez's dive against Stoke at Anfield, believe me, that is no mean feat!!

Fans need to realise its not their job to try and justify every little bad thing their club, players, or in this case, staff, do.
